A DocSend alternative that costs $5 a month
DocSend is great if you need enterprise data rooms and seat-based pricing. DocPulse is for the other case: you send proposals, you want to know when they open, and you do not want to pay per seat for that one job.

When DocPulse is the better pick
- You already have the PDF. You just need a tracked link and a notification when it opens.
- You are a solo seller or a two-person team, so per-seat pricing is the wrong shape.
- You want to try it without a card: three documents are free, and a credit is only used when someone actually opens one.
When to stick with DocSend
- You need multi-file data rooms, NDA gates, dynamic watermarking, or SOC-heavy diligence workflows. Keep DocSend (or a VDR) for that.
- You need built-in e-signature as the core product. Pair DocPulse with a signer, or pick a lifecycle tool like PandaDoc.
Frequently asked questions
Is DocPulse a full DocSend replacement?
For proposal and deck tracking, yes for many solo sellers. For enterprise data rooms, NDAs, and watermarking, no. We are explicit about that so you do not buy the wrong tool.
Will my recipients notice tracking?
They are not shown a tracking banner by default, the same category norm as other document-tracking tools. If you want an identified open, turn on the email gate.
Can I move off DocSend without rewriting my workflow?
Upload the PDF, mint a tracked link, send that instead of the attachment. That is the whole switch for most sales use cases.
